Locum LADO - Childrens' Services

Quality Assurance 

Responsibilities:

Provide advice and guidance to employers, agencies, and voluntary organisations on concerns or allegations involving those working with children and young people.
Chair child protection strategy meetings concerning allegations against staff, carers, and volunteers.
Liaise with the police and relevant agencies to manage allegations effectively.
Report significant safeguarding issues and high-profile cases to the LADO Partnership or senior managers.
Collaborate with the LADO Partnership and Surrey Safeguarding Children Board (SSCB) on inter-agency performance management processes and standards.
Deliver child protection training to staff and volunteers.
Analyse performance management data and support the preparation of reports for senior management.
Essential Requirements:

Previous experience working with Childrens Services, in a LADO position, for a minimum of three years.
Valid registration with Social Work England.
Valid UK drivers license, with access to own car & ability to travel nationally.
Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.
