£31,099 to £41,496 plus £7,000 per annum Market Forces Supplement (subject to experience)
Child Friendly Dudley holds the highest ambitions for our children, young people and families and works to a restorative practice model.
We have implemented Family Safeguarding Practice across children's services. It is a strengths-based, whole-family approach to child protection, bringing together individual multi-disciplinary teams comprising of professionals from children's and adult services to work intensively with families to reduce the number of children entering into care or becoming subject to child protection planning.
It is an exciting time to join Dudley Children's Services as we embed the Family Safeguarding Model. We have an extensive training offer through our Centre for Professional Practice with great career progression opportunities. We are looking for dynamic and driven Social Workers to join us on our journey to achieve excellence.
The Family Safeguarding Service comprises of 6 teams and supports families with children under the age of 12. The Adolescent Safeguarding Service works with children and Young People from the age of 12 upwards and comprises of 6 teams and 1 Contextual Safeguarding team. Preferences can be given following a successful interview.
