The States of Guernsey are looking to appoint a Team Leader. The Team Leader will be working in Sunnybrook a residential home based out of the Duchess of Kent House. They will be providing care and support for people with complex Learning Disabilites.

You will be a member of the adult disability service that supports people with a learning disability and/or autism based in a variety of settings including residential homes, supported living, short break service and the outreach team.

This role comes with a competitive salary, an annual bonus, progressive annual leave and entitlement to a pension scheme. We will also consider previous service in a substantive post in the NHS towards your entitlement to annual leave, maternity leave and sick pay. 

This role also benefits from an additional bonus of £3,000, which is payable on the anniversary of the second and fourth year of employment.  

For candidates who would be required to relocate to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, we also offer a relocation package to help with the cost of moving over to the Island. This relocation package offers different solutions depending on an individual’s circumstances.

This role offers off-Island candidates an 8-year Long Term Employment Permit (see details below). This permit will also enable candidates to bring immediate family members with them who will be permitted to work on the Island in any sector. There are also good schools on Island for those candidates looking to bring their families with them. 

Single subsidised accommodation is available for candidates relocating to the Island.
