The States of Guernsey are looking for a Deputy Manager to join the team at Adult Community Services.

The post holder is a member of the adult disability service that supports people with a learning disability. The post holder will be based with our Supported Living Team providing care and support for people with Learning Disabilities in their own flats within the complex.

This role comes with a competitive salary, an annual bonus, progressive annual leave and entitlement to a pension scheme. We will also consider previous service in a substantive post in the NHS towards your entitlement to annual leave, maternity leave and sick pay.
This role also benefits from an additional bonus of £3,000, which is payable on the anniversary of the second and fourth year of employment.
For candidates who would be required to relocate to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, we also offer a relocation package to help with the cost of moving over to the Island. This relocation package offers different solutions depending on an individual’s circumstances.

This role offers off-Island candidates an 8-year Long Term Employment Permit (see details below). This permit will also enable candidates to bring immediate family members with them who will be permitted to work on the Island in any sector. There are also good schools on Island for those candidates looking to bring their families with them.
Single subsidised accommodation is available for candidates relocating to the Island.
